Alberto Medina leads communications at the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at Tufts University and is the president of the board of directors for Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora (BUDPR), a national nonprofit organization of Puerto Ricans in the United States who educate and organize for Puerto Rico's decolonization. His writing has appeared in outlets including The New Republic, Current Affairs, The Hill, The Progressive, The Latino Newsletter, Latino Rebels, Colorado Politics, The Fulcrum, and El Nuevo Día?Puerto Rico's main national newspaper.
