Linda Jaivin is an internationally published essayist, novelist, translator, and cultural commentator. Her essays have appeared in a wide range of publications in Australia and beyond, and her other work has appeared in publication such as The Sydney Morning Herald, Sydney Review of Books, and The Spectator. She is the author of thirteen books, including her latest, Bombard the Headquarters! and The Shortest History of China, which has been translated into more than twenty languages.
