Zusammenfassung

Results are easy to measure. What's harder-and far more important-is understanding what makes them last. In today's pressure-driven environment, leaders are rewarded for speed, short-term gains, and visible wins. But beneath those metrics, something essential is often missing: trust, alignment, disciplined execution, and a clear sense of purpose. Without them, even the most impressive results don't endure. In Enduring Impact: Why Purpose Driven Leadership Delivers Results That Last, Patrick Finneran draws on decades of leadership across the United States Marine Corps and senior executive roles at Boeing to challenge one of the most persistent myths in business-that performance and principles are at odds. They aren't. At the center of this book is a rare real-world example: the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet program-one of the only major defense acquisition programs completed on cost, on schedule, and without contract changes. Its success wasn't luck. It was leadership. Inside, you'll learn how to:Align purpose, strategy, and execution into a single operating system Build trust that strengthens performance instead of slowing it down Create accountability that drives results without sacrificing culture Replace leadership slogans with practical, repeatable disciplines Lead organizations that perform consistently-not occasionally This is not a theory-driven leadership book filled with trends and buzzwords. It's a practical guide grounded in real decisions, real consequences, and real results. If you want to lead in a way that delivers not just outcomes-but outcomes that endure-this book will change how you think about leadership.
