Kerry King is the founder of KIOM and the creator of the Sensaura Method, a sensorial approach to healing that restores relationship between the body, the senses, and the nervous system. Her work is rooted in a simple remembering: that the body holds an innate intelligence, and that healing begins when we learn to listen again.
Her path has been shaped by both lived experience and professional practice. After years in high-pressure environments, her own experience of illness and burnout became a quiet turning point, guiding her away from performance and toward presence, and into a deeper exploration of sensory awareness, embodiment, and regulation.
Kerry is a practicing complementary therapist, specialising in supporting families affected by childhood cancer. This work has profoundly shaped her understanding of care, resilience, and the subtle ways illness touches not only the body, but the relational field around it. Her approach is gentle, trauma-aware, and grounded in deep respect for the body's pace and capacity.
Her work weaves together touch, sound, movement, energy awareness, and ritual, informed by disciplines including yoga, qigong, and sound therapy. She is also an Angelic Reiki Master and Soul Midwife, accompanying individuals and families through transition with presence, dignity, and compassion.
Through Sensaura, Kerry invites a return to the sensory foundations of life. Not as a method to master, but as a relationship to restore. A remembering of rhythm. A softening into coherence. A way back to the quiet intelligence of the body.
Kerry lives and works in the UK, where KIOM and Sensaura continue to evolve as living expressions of this work.
