For a quarter of a century, Robert Guy has been co-sponsor of the William Thompson: Forgotten Patriot travelling exhibit. He is the Director of the Becoming America non-profit educational initiative. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, where he was the Hugh Mercer scholar. He has written several articles and books on the American Revolution, including Perhaps Never to Return and Hold the Old Speeches.
