DIE SKRYWER EN ILLUSTREERDER Hele¿ne Booyens het van kleins af hondjies en p erde in die kantlyne van haar skoolboeke gekrabbel. Vandag is sy 'n skrywer en illustreerder, asook 'n redakteur by Penguin Random House Suid-Afrika. Sy het honneursgrade in Bewaringsekologie en Joernalistiek aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch, en 'n lisensie om slange te vang en hervestig. THE AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR Heléne Booyens has been doodling puppies and horses in the margins of her schoolbooks since childhood. Today, she is a writer and illustrator, as well as an editor at Penguin Random House South Africa. She holds honours degrees in Conservation Ecology and Journalism from Stellenbosch University, and a license to catch and relocate snakes.
