Alicia Boemi loves life on the lake, her daughters, and her dogs. Her own dogs inspire her creativity, and her daughters motivate writing her children's picture books. Growing up, Alicia spent her summers on the shores of Geneva Lake, the inspirational backdrop for her work. Alicia earned a degree in English Writing from Drake University and owns Lakeside Books, an independent bookstore in Lake Geneva. Alicia now lives full-time in Lake Geneva. When not working or writing, she can be found enjoying the lakefront while reading a great novel or spending time with her dogs, beautiful daughters, and wildly supportive husband. Alicia is the creator of the Lake Dog Adventures and Sue Dog children's book series. The Mailboat Dog is the first installment of the Lake Dog Adventure Series. Stinky Sue is the first book from the Sue Dog Series.
