Quincy Harker is called to a grisly scene in Atlanta, Georgia, where a banker is murdered and mutilated beyond all repair by magical means. The scene is both mysterious and disgusting, and the mystery deepens when Harker realizes that the first responder survived because she's part faerie. Then he has to infiltrate a massive ball thrown by one of the most powerful fae in any world to find out what's going on, and if he can stop this new magical ebola before it kills every human being on the planet. Oh, and he learns a lot more about his tattoo artist in the process...
