In the late 1800s, Oro Fino, Idaho is a lawless town run by Clarence Hopwood, the ruthless bank manager. Betty, a tired madam, Anna, an overweight teacher, and Emma, a Shoshoni visionary, meet under serendipitous circumstances and discover they've each had an unpleasant run-in with Hopwood.

Fed by Emma's powerful visions that the three were meant to do something meaningful together, they devise an audacious, not to mention, dangerous plan to get their revenge on Hopwood. Before they can put the plan into action, each of them find themselves on a path where they find their true strength and courage, inspired by the Shoshoni spirit and the wild beauty of the valleys and mountains of Idaho.
