Told in first person voice, and diary form, Aura describes what's transpired with herself and the members of Team Carly as they navigate their new responsibilities as self-appointed protectors of Waukensee and its citizens from the ongoing paranormal threats that lurk in the region. In the process, she describes further adventures they've encountered and details some unexpected dramatic revelations to the team about herself and her life before arriving in Waukensee. A lifelong West Virginia native, Scott grew up a child of the mid-1960s - 1970s, reading magazines like Famous Monsters Of Filmland, building Aurora monster-themed, plastic model kits, and watching reruns of classic horror/sci-fi/monster films. The love of all things monster-related stayed with him through adulthood and has now culminated in this, his writing career.
