The contributions to this volume, written by historians and theologians, provide a compendium of the life and work of Otto Dibelius (1880-1967). In doing so, they do not neglect to deal with the dark sides of this outstanding figure, such as anti-Semitism, and in many areas they present a serious reassessment.
