Mahendra S. Seveda is Professor and Head, Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, Central Agricultural University, Ranipool, Gangtok, Sikkim, India. He has undertaken several projects on solar energy and biomass energy and has also been involved in the design and development of energy efficient renewable technologies. His research interests include solar thermal energy, solar photovoltaic energy, biomass energy, waste management, wind energy, hydro power, hydrogen production from renewable sources, fuel cell technology, energy audit, energy modelling, energy conservation and management, energy planning and policy. Pradip D. Narale is Assistant Professor, Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering and Post Harvest Technology Central Agricultural University, Ranipool, Gangtok, Sikkim, India. He has worked as a Consultant of Renewable Energy for United Nations 'International Fund for Agricultural Development' (IFAD) funded project in People's Republic of China (PRC) and has also been recipient of the Pradip Pimpley ENERTIA award for Idea Innovation. Sudhir N. Kharpude is Assistant Professor in Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering and Post Harvest Technology, Central Agricultural University, Ranipool, Gangtok, Sikkim, India. He is also a member of 'Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers' and 'International Association for Water, Environment, Energy, and Society', and Vice President of 'Professionals of Agriculture and Technology.'
