This is a story of one woman's struggle to believe in herself, overcome adversity, and learn to believe that God, is after all, a God of Love. It was a long struggle. She grew up with a mentally ill father, faced hardships from the Great Depression, and heard frightening sermons of hellfire and damnation. In her adult life, she struggled to please everyone, enduring a bossy pastor, marriage difficulties, and a time of homesteading in the Alaskan wilderness (where Foxglove and Rose Hips grow). It would be a small book that would help bring healing to her troubled soul. Her story is about being human and learning to accept herself.
