What is God's plan for humankind? How does religion play into that plan? Each religion has its own thoughts on the subject. While the Bible speaks of many future events accurately, there is a writing that is a must-read. That writing is the Book of Daniel the Prophet. Daniel foretells of the rule of the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Greek (Alexander The Great), and Roman kingdoms. He also tells of another Kingdom, The Kingdom of the Jewish Messiah. Jesus, the King of the Jews, established his Kingdom over two millennia ago and his followers wait for his return even up to today. The King of this Kingdom will bring all prophecy to its final outcome. The reality of his return is as sure as the sun rising. And the sovereign rule of God will be our future.
