"In The Elevator" is the opening story for this collection. It tells the story of former coworkers Annette and Richard getting stuck in an elevator and Richard learns the truth about his termination.
"He's Still Out There" is the second story in the collection. After seeing and hearing a strange figure strange things start happening for Lucy; and when she gets home she learns of a secret her mother kept.
"Coffee Shop Attraction" is about two women who fall in love after an altercation and how quickly a relationship can be formed from spontaneity.
Finally, "Love On The Battlefield" rounds out the collection. This story is an unorthodox relationship story. It tells the story of Pu'a and Maia who, while competing against one another to find an artifact, find something inside them.
