For the Love of It traces the lives of Roma and Dave McCoy, visionary founders of world-renowned Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, from their childhoods through their eventual building of the first chairlift in the Eastern Sierra.
Robin Morning grew up ski racing at Mammoth with Dave McCoy as her coach. In 1965 she was named to the U.S. National A Team, and, in 1968, the U.S. Olympic Team. Her previous book, Tracks of Passion, documents the history of skiing in California's Eastern Sierra.
