While Justice pursues justice through the legal system and struggles to subdue a demon that has plagued her for years, she stumbles unto a plot so diabolical that she knows she must survive thet threat on her life in order to thwart the henious plan.

Justice, a new public defender fresh out of law school, is assigned to Courtroon D at a time when defense attorneys have all but given up hope on winning a trial or motion in that courtroom. Right away, she begins winning all of her trials and motions. No on in the legal system knows why--except the judge. The judge, along with several other outstanding citizens of Winston, desperately wants her to go away. After three unsuccessful attempts on her life, the perpetrator resorts to kidnapping in an attempt to insure her elimination from Courtroom D. When Alou and a friend go looking for Justic, theybump into a couple of uniformed policemen who, they fear, are are a part of the sinister plot to get rid of her.
