The Flood, or The Parable of Defeat, is about a young girl whose life is destroyed by a rape in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina In New Orleans. Coming to terms with it, but also finding out who the culprit is, too. The Beast, or Wight, is about a man who comes back from the Iraq/Afghanistan war with more than just scars to carry. Working in a grocery store, they learn the truth behind his awful secret.
