The authors are three sisters with a longstanding love for the written word. When they became involved in a mystery of their own while on one of their sisters' retreats, they decided it would be loads of fun to collaborate on a writing project. Easy Street was the result.
The authors were born and raised in south Mississippi, the location of their book, and know first-hand the culture, history, charm, and mystery of the Gulf coast. They grew up eating its amazing food, listening to the renowned music that originated within the state's borders, reading books by its writers, viewing its art, and immersing themselves not only in the spirit of Mississippi, but in the spirit of the alluring nearby city of New Orleans.
Each of the sisters married and adopted a rural lifestyle early on, raising their families and enjoying an array of fun, unique, and ever-changing projects including raising chickens, raising and showing horses, building a house from the bounty of their land, turning a century old home into a showplace, and running a bed and breakfast. Good, southern food has always appealed to them, particularly homemade pies of any kind - for which they will go miles out of their way to obtain.
