Donald Yates, the author of over a dozen military history publications, explores the different allied military trucks used during World War I. Over 35 colorized photos give readers a great look at these almost antiquated vehicles. Yates starts his tour with a look at the Liberty Truck produced by Bethlehem Company, which was mass-produced as a general-purpose truck. He then moves on to ammunition trucks, including the Nash Company 2-ton trucks, The Mark 1 Ammunition truck manufactured by the Militor Corporation, and the FWD or Four Wheel Drive Company heavy truck.
