Loren B. Wilson moved to Kingman, Arizona, in 1968 with an invitation to teach Art & Photography at Kingman High School. After 20 years, he retired, then volunteered for another 20 serving at The Powerhouse Route 66 Museum and the Mohave Museum of History and Arts. During this time, Loren interviewed inspirational leaders of the community, discovering first-hand the most remarkable happenings of his time. Kingman and Mohave County's newspaper, The Miner, published 23 of his short stories, gaining him a captive audience. Then, to commemorate Kingman's 100th anniversary, 50 of Mr. Wilson's works were collected into a booklet and distributed throughout the community. He has always loved writing and would be proud to see this official publication of his timeless classics.
