Young FBI agent Star Cherokee listens to a voicemail left on a her cellphone from a terminally ill senior with a mission: "Hello, Star. I am going to kill a man who has avoided justice for his crimes. I tell you this so that you will investigate not only me but also the motive for my transgression and why I chose this victim. I trust that you will get to the bottom of it."
Star is assigned to investigate the alarming increase of murder committed by senior citizens and to determine if the movement is organized. Afterall, life in prison is less of a deterrent for people at the end of their lives.
