Barbara Quick is the author of the 2007 novel VIVALDI'S VIRGINS, which has been translated into fourteen languages. NORTHERN EDGE, her first novel, won the Discover Prize. Her latest novel, A GOLDEN WEB, set in 14th century Bologna, will be published by HarperTeen in April 2010. At work now on another novel set in the world of music, Barbara lives in the California Wine Country with her fiance Wayne Roden, a vigneron and violist with the San Francisco Symphony.
