I was raised in a small town in southeast Texas. My parents took me to a small Baptist church every Sunday morning, Sunday night, and usually on Wednesday night. I was baptized at the age of eight and believe fully in my salvation. I began to form a relationship with God that some may frown on. God knows my heart. He accepts me for who I am, warts and all, and I have a very special relationship with him. God blessed me with a very big imagination and the ability to think for myself. I have always been fascinated by the universe, dinosaurs, and creation in general. One only needs to look around to see God's hand in creation everywhere. It doesn't bother me that science says Earth is 4.5 billion years old and that the universe is older still. It doesn't bother me that some animals appear to have evolved from others. God is God, and he can create the world and everything in it however he likes and take as long as he likes. Do I believe God created Earth and everything in it in six days? No. I believe timetables are of no use to God and that the measurement of time is for the sole purpose of man. I think God was trying to explain to Moses about creation on a scale he could understand. I really don't care how long it took. I know God created it all in his own time.
