J.T. Bushnell grew up with three brothers in Sisters, Oregon, and San Luis Obispo, California. He earned a BA in journalism from Linfield College and an MFA in fiction from University of Oregon, and he has taught at Oregon State University in Corvallis since 2007. He lives in Eugene with his wife and two daughters. This is his first novel.
