C'Anna Bergman-Hill is a native Californian with roots in the San Joaquin Valley. She lives in the Bay area with her husband David and is a mother and grandmother. When not writing or reading, she and David explore back roads up and down the California Coast and across the United States. C'Anna documented her career as a teacher in her memoir, Dear Mrs. B, the Unplanned Lessons of a Special Education Teacher (2015). Junctions, her first novel, was published in 2016.
