Lacy moved out to the middle of nowhere to live with her grandfather on the family farm in hopes to get away from her ex-boyfriend, who became a stalker after their breakup. She has lived in peace for months since leaving the city and nothing, not even her grandfather's sudden demise, could convince her to move back to the place.
One stormy day, a stranger appears on Lacy's doorstep. With his Russian accent, it is clear he is from out of town, and probably from outside of the country. Though his measly request to use her phone is innocent enough, something tells her not to trust him. He seemed too handsome, too kind and too much of everything to have showed up at Lacy's door by coincidence. While he may not be an alien, like in the book Lacy was reading before he arrived, there was certainly something off about him. Lacy just had to find out what before she ended up on her death bed.
