His scripts have been awarded the David Mark Cohen National Playwriting Award from the Kennedy Center, the Smith Prize, the Keene Prize for Literature, an NNPN Rolling World Premiere, an Austin Critic's Circle Best New Play Award and an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award for 2012.
