Behind the Hijab, pulsating and daring in its theme, is an anthology of informative and thought-provoking articles and poems from Muslim and Non Muslim women. Through their writing, these women tackle a contentious issue that has rocked society in modern times; the veil or Hijab. Both established and emerging women writers contribute their views of the veil, which are brought alive through prose, poetry and fiction. The anthology has been collated by Rabina Khan as part of Monsoon Press's Hidden Voices Programme.
